Alpine Psychology was founded on the belief that everybody has the right to take care of themselves and that it is important to have a space for therapists to practice in a way that is authentic and true to themselves. We believe that growth comes from a goodness of fit between the therapist and the client, and that we can only continue to learn from each other's experiences and different areas of expertise. Alpine is committed to being a safe space for all individuals and celebrates everyone's religion, sexuality, identity, culture, and who they are as people.

Hey there! My name is Amanda Hoang (she/her) and I am a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists.
As a second generation Chinese-Canadian, I am familiar with the traditional aspects of Chinese culture, and understand the challenges that may arise in the integration of western values into one’s ethnic identity. This duality has acted as a strength in helping me develop a culturally informed perspective. My past experience consists of working with new immigrants and assisting them in navigating these life changes.
My approach to counselling is collaborative and client-centred. I strive to create a supportive, non judgemental space that is welcoming for all individuals from diverse backgrounds, and I am LGBTQ2S+ affirming. I take an integrative approach to therapy that utilizes interventions informed from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Family Systems Therapy. Additionally, I am trained in providing Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy for the treatment of trauma. My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, attachment issues, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), relationship issues, personal growth, stress and burnout, trauma and post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). In addition to providing individual therapy to adults, I have a special interest in working with youth and adolescents.
I truly believe that we all have the capacity for growth. Together, we will learn what works for you and therapy will be tailored to meet your specific needs and goals. Let's work as a team to get you to where you want to be. If you have any questions or simply want to see if we would be a good fit, I invite you to reach out for a complementary telephone consult. I can’t wait to meet you!
Hello! I'm Anmol Hajraw (she/her), a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists.
As someone with a South Asian heritage and a lifelong Calgarian, I understand the unique challenges faced by children of immigrants and immigrants themselves. Many people I’ve worked with have shared that they hesitated to seek counselling because they couldn’t find someone who truly understood their cultural experiences. and my goal is to provide culturally sensitive therapy where we can honour your background while exploring how it impacts your mental health. I have experience working with the South Asian community through both professional and advocacy roles, and I offer therapy in both Punjabi and English.
I specialize in Neurodivergent-Affirming Counselling, with a particular focus on individuals in the Autism community. I provide therapy for individuals and families aged 18 and older, helping clients address a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, emotional regulation, self-esteem, personal identity, relationships, executive functioning, and more.
My approach is integrative, combining Client-Centered Therapy with techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Narrative Therapy. I believe in creating a safe and supportive space where you can explore meaningful changes and personal growth at your own pace.
If you’re wondering if we’d be a good fit or have any questions about what to expect, I invite you to schedule a complimentary consultation. I look forward to connecting with you and supporting your journey.

Hello there, my name is Jeremy Luk (he/him) and I have been a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists since 2016.
Being born and raised in the city of Calgary has fostered a strong sense of community in me and I am always excited to see how our city has grown throughout the years. My experiences in counselling and therapy have spanned from working in specialized populations such as autistic children, to more broad and general groups through an internship and residency in non-profit counselling centres. I've also spent four years working in both a private practice and with an employee assistance program of a school board. I have worked with individuals, couples, as well as families to develop strategies in the areas of depression, anxiety, communication difficulties, infidelity, grief, stress management, parenting difficulties, co-parenting after separation, blended family issues, sexual identity, trauma, phobias, emotional regulation, workplace stress, addictions, motivation, self-esteem, goal-setting, and conflict management among others. I also have a special interest in working with the LGBTQ2S+, BIPOC, and neurodivergent communities.
My approach to counselling is getting to know you first! I think a collaborative approach makes the most sense where we work together based on your learning style and by remembering that you are the expert of all things in your life and I am just a passenger that helps explore where you would like to go next. My treatment direction would be more short-term in orientation as it involves a solution-focused approach, drawing from several different schools of therapy, including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical-Behavioural Therapy, or Narrative Therapy. Other orientations may also be explored as well depending on the best fit of practice, such as using my Gottman's training to address couples' counselling or play therapy when working with children. I have a passion for working with others in experiencing changes for patterns that haven't been working for them, and haven't met a client I haven't learned from yet! I am also proficient conversationally in Cantonese and can try my best to offer services in that language if you don't mind the occassional funny pronounciation or two.
If you are interested in working together, feel free to reach out for a complimentary phone consult where I can answer some of your questions to see if we may be a good fit, take care!
