Hello! My name is Sally Li (she/her) and I am a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists. I am passionate about working with youth and families to increase understanding, strengthen relationships, and foster resilience. I am a proud Chinese-Canadian, born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. I value my cultural background and the connections I have with my family and community. I am incredibly grateful for my supportive network and I truly think “it takes a village” to shape who we become.

I specialize in providing comprehensive and personalized psychoeducational assessments for children and adolescents to provide insight into their strengths and areas for growth. I also offer individual counselling to help manage anxiety and stress, as well as family counselling to help improve family dynamics and parent-child relations. I will work collaboratively with you to explore areas of difficulty while helping you develop a greater sense of self-awareness. I also work with parents to develop strategies to improve family dynamics, learn ways to co-regulate, as well as manage challenges associated with anxiety, attention difficulties, confidence, and stress. I utilize a strength-based mindset to empower you and your child to recognize existing strengths and feel confident in your ability to grow, improve, and become more resilient.

I provide assessments examining all areas of functioning: cognitive, learning, social/emotional, and behavioural assessments. This information can help parents and educators understand whether there may be underlying clinical conditions such as:
